Application works perfectly fine with all the values. However, if the timeout and interval both are less than 5 milliseconds, the CPU usage will very high. So it hangs the application. That is the reason developers hide the output of the each ICMP or ping request within the application in ping flooding by just showing the total count of packets sent or the success rate of the packets.
